Northampton Nene 985 Round Table is all about making friends, having fun, trying things you’ve not done before, and putting something back into your local community.
We meet every other Tuesday, getting together for activities ranging from Canoeing, Wake Boarding and Go-Karting, through to a simple a drink at the pub or a meal somewhere local. These social evenings are the lifeblood of our club – bringing together groups of friends for a drink and a laugh, Black tie evenings including an annual Ladies night.
We organise events each year. They vary from anything from boat races and bonfires to charity runs/walks and Christmas Wish appeals and of course our current Pudsey Abseling Challenge. Fund raising is not the only focus… what matters is that we get involved in and around our local community of Northampton, putting something back, and making a difference.
Round Table gives you the chance to try something that you wouldn’t usually try alone. If you’ve ever fancied abseiling, bungee jumping, dry slope skiing or juggling, put it forward as a suggestion and we will put it in as part of our meetings programe for the next Table year.
Getting involved is easy, and it could be the best laugh you’ve had for ages.
